Biography

I have always strived for indirectly or directly helping people in need, with the purpose to help them to help themselves to a more worthily and happy life. I am an outcome oriented person. I have many years of experience of working with international development as well as high level political coordination and negotiations. Parallel to my work I am currently enrolled within studies of Medical Doctor and Master of Law. After graduation I aim to dedicate full time to work on development and resilience, with focus o disaster management and prevention. In my political work I coordinate policy design, implementation, monitor and review within the United Nations through the official children and youth constituency. The goal is to build a sustainable and resilient society which meets the rights of all people. In oder to reach this the policy needs to be built on science; look beyond the regular avenues of solutions; engage the whole society. My studies and research all relate to disaster risk management, either through a legal perspective or response perspective.
